About
At Grace and Growth Counselling I understand that you are a unique individual with your own story. My approach is deeply personal, compassionate, and encouraging as we collaborate together to navigate the way for you to heal and grow with grace.
My Approach
At Grace and Growth Counselling I apply the following counselling and psychotherapy approaches from a Biblical based perspective.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Explores unconscious thoughts and early experiences to understand current behaviour patterns in order to bring about change and renewal.
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and changing negative or unhelpful, often untrue thought and behaviour patterns associated with mental health struggles.
Existential Therapy
Explores meaning, choices, and purpose in life, helping you to find and make meaning of the struggles and pain in your life story.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Finding solutions and envisioning a desired outcome. Actionable steps and goals are determined while keeping you accountable.
Family Systems Therapy
Examines the influence of family dynamics on individual behaviour and mental health as well as your spiritual journey.
Narrative Therapy
Reframing your personal story and recognising your agency in your transformation process as you move forward.

Anja Bronkhorst
I’m deeply passionate about Christian counselling, having experienced its transformative power firsthand. Through God’s grace and Biblical based psychotherapy, I’ve overcome numerous personal challenges and healed from traumatic experiences. I’m a Christian counsellor but wear many different hats, including mum and wife, and understand the complexities of diverse family dynamics. But overall, who am I? My identity is rooted in Jesus Christ and I’m a beloved child of God.
Counselling is my ministry and calling, not just profession. I pour my heart and faith into understanding, supporting, and empowering each person according to their unique struggles and strengths. My personal journey and professional training have equipped me to guide others through their own pain and challenges.
I invite you to join me on a path of grace and growth, where hope, healing, and restoration are possible!
